A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

I am a wedding creative and I believe it's all in the details. The little things matter to me.  Your wedding planning needs someone to bring the little things and details to life. You need someone to bring your personality and put it into YOUR wedding day.

FAQ: A BRIDE'S INTERVIEW WITH RENEE KREJCI

Q?

How long have you been doing what you do and how did you become a wedding planner?

A.

I have been planning weddings and events since 1998, but I wasn't in business yet. I was a bride myself and helping friends and family plan their weddings and events. I became a certified wedding planner in February 2006, and then started this business in September 2006.

I was part of the youth leading staff at my church and I was in charge of the fund raisers.  Each fund raiser was very successful. I organized the events and enjoyed all the work that was put into them.  I had recieved many positive vibes from people.  I was told then that I should organize and plan events for a living.  I wasn't so sure, and ignored the advice.  I was going to nursing school and had no desire to plan weddings or events. However, while planning my own wedding, and helping my friends plan theirs, I really had a knack for it.  Nursing school wasn't for me, so I dropped out.  I then enrolled into becoming a certified wedding planner.  And here I am today planning weddings and life events. I love what I do and I love my clients.

Q?

We love your planning services and portfolio. Everything sounds great….So, can you tell me what sets you apart from the other wedding planners in the area?

A.

We are a full service full time planning company. We are based in Stephens City, Virginia, and service our clients in  a 50 mile radius from our base including; Frederick County, VA, Clark County, VA,  parts of Loudoun County, VA, Warren County, VA, and parts of Maryland and West Virginia.

I am a Christian.  What that means to you is that I am honest, trustworthy, non judgemental, loving, and caring. I take being a Christian seriously. I know not all my brides or clients have my views and I absolutely respect their differences. I am far from perfect and don't act like I am.  I am a sinner like everyone else.  I have my weaknesses and I have my strengths.

Planning a wedding is a big deal.  You're planning a the most important day of your life.  My job is to help you bring your vision to life.  I can see things from different perspectives.  I will always give you my honest opinion. I am a great mediator.  I'm a shoulder to lean on. When the stress gets tough, I'm there for you.

I am the one that answers the emails, and other correspondances. I personally handle all of that.  I personally read your emails.

I have a true passion for what I do.  My calling was to help people, and you will notice that when I'm helping you plan your wedding. I love my clients, and you will know that when you hire me.

Q?

This all sounds so wonderful. But, it also seems expensive. Are we going to be able to afford this?

A.

It has been researched that the average bride takes several hundred hours to plan her wedding. Can you say WOW?!! Do you have that kind of time? Will you have time for your personal life, your fiance, your family/friends? So many clients have told me how much time they've saved, and energy working with us.

You're planning a wedding, and most likely you haven't planned one before. There is so much that is involved, that a lot of couples don't know about and quickly adds to their growing budget that they didn't plan for. As a professional wedding planner, I know what goes into planning a wedding, and I know what items should be included in a budget.  Do you know what things cost now a days for weddings? It's hard to plan and stick to a budget when you don't know what the average cost ranges are.

Think about your dream wedding and what it really means to you, really, think about it really hard. Meet with me for a complimentary "Get Acquainted" session, and we can really talk about your dreams and visions on how we can create the best day of your life together. It doesn't sound so expensive now, does it? (And to add, there's a reason why I have packages. There's a solution for every bride at various price ranges. Now breathe) It can be quite the investment initially, but it will pay off. I do offer payment plans to help out and make it more affordable.

Q?

Who do you work best with?

A.

You will benefit best from working with us if you want your dream wedding, but you know you don't have the time, the resources or the knowledge of how to get this done. If you know what you want, but have no idea how to get there, or if you aren't clear at all about how to plan that wedding of your dreams, it's okay. That's what makes you the perfect candidate for us.

Q?

Will I lose control of my own wedding if you’re planning it for me?

A.

NO, absolutely not. Only a bad wedding planner will take control of their client's wedding. That is NOT the object of wedding planning. The object of wedding planning is to be an addition of who you are and your creativity. You are the star of this show.  We are just the crew doing what we do best to bring out more of your awesomeness.  It is YOUR vision we're bringing to life. It is YOUR day. Period.

Q?

Will you work with vendors I’ve already hired or people that I really want to work with?

A.

Yes, absolutely. We will work with whoever you hire or choose. We form as a team with your other vendors and together as a team we rock your wedding day. That stated, we do have a preferred vendor list that we recommend to hire if you haven't hired anyone yet.

Q?

Do you accept credit cards and can we have a payment plan? Do you have liability insurance?

A.

Yes, and yes.  We do accept credit cards. We do offer payment plans as well to accommodate our clients.

Yes, we do have liability insurance.

Q?

Do you take more than one wedding per day?

A.

No, we only take one wedding per weekend. Only once did we have two weddings in a weekend, and that was for two sisters who used the same venue and the same vendors. It was a tough weekend for all involved.  Both weddings were beautiful and nothing went wrong, but my team and I were very stressed and exhausted. We decided then, that that was only going to be a one time occurance. You will be our primary focus on your wedding weekend.

Q?

This sounds like everything we’ve been looking for. What happens next?
